20 Projects Selected for the CCCL Film Festival’s Film Grants 2021 Announced

CCCL Film Festival is thrilled to announce today the selected projects of this year’s CCCL Film Grants Program. Of all 144 projects submitted during the open call period, 20 projects from 25 directors have been selected to receive a financial support of 25,000 Baht from the festival. The Grants Program features 10 fiction films, 8 documentary films, and 2 experimental films. In total, 6 projects will received a mentorship from filmmakers in the film industry.



The projects selected for the 2021 CCCL Film Grants are:

  3. Temperature directed by Methas Chantawongs

  5. The Memories of Sikhram directed by Thidarat yingyod

  6. Ancestor Wai Day directed by Chaowat Phanruangchana

  7. To Dust and Drought directed by Jittinont Sujjakulvanich

  8. Deportu directed by Natthan Krungsri

  9. Behind the Wall directed by Chonchanok Thanatteepwong, Patiparn Boontarig

  10. Journey of Wisdom directed by Thanawat Talsuk

The CCCL Film Grants program provides financial support to aspiring filmmakers in Thailand. The program is to identify new talents with exciting ideas on films about climate change impact and innovative initiatives. The 2021 grants are partially supported by Heinrich Böll Stiftung Southeast Asia.
